Graduation

Requirements for Graduation from Snowline Academy
Graduation requirements include these considerations:
  1. Minimum number of credits to be earned.
  2. Certain required courses to be taken and passed with a D- or better.
Credits Required for Graduation
The District currently requires a student to successfully complete a minimum of 180 semester credits in grades Ninth – Twelfth for high school graduation. Other requirements include the successful completion of an Algebra course (or higher math course)

Snowline Academy does not currently offer any weighted grade classes at this time.
What is an "A-G Approved" Course?
Courses from California high schools and online schools used to satisfy the "A-G" subject requirements must be approved by UC and appear on the institution's "A-G" course list. These courses are to be academically challenging, involving substantial reading, writing, problem solving, and laboratory work (as appropriate), and they must show serious attention to analytical thinking, factual content, and developing students' oral and listening skills.

Orders must be placed by 02/01/2023 in order to be delivered to the school site. Any orders made after the deadline will have a shipping fee and will be delivered to the address provided to the company.

Grad night is taking place at Magic Mountain on Friday June 02, 2023 from 6:15 PM- 6:00 AM Saturday June 3rd, 2023.The cost for this event is $160.00. The $160.00 will cover the bus ride round trip, entry, and the entertainment provided. The deadline to sign up for Grad Night is May 1st by 2PM. 

La noche de graduación se llevará a cabo en Magic Mountain el viernes 2 de junio de 2023 de 6:15 p. m. a 6:00 a. m. el sábado 3 de junio de 2023. El costo de este evento es de $160.00. Los $160.00 cubrirán el viaje de ida y vuelta en autobús, la entrada y el entretenimiento proporcionado. La fecha límite para inscribirse en Grad Night es el 1 de mayo a las 2 p. m.

Prom will be held on Saturday May 13th at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia. The hours will be from 7:00p - 11:00p. Tickets will cost $105 until 04/14/2023 and $125 after 04/14/2023. Students must have a permission slip filled out to purchase a ticket. Price includes entry to Prom, bus ride to and from the event, Dinner buffet, Unlimited drink bar (water and soft drinks), and Dessert Buffet. Photo packages will be available for purchase.  
 
 
Prom se llevará a cabo el sábado 13 de mayo en el Parque Santa Anita en Arcadia. El horario será de 7:00 p.m. a 11:00 p.m. Los boletos costarán $105 hasta el 14/04/2023 y $125 después del 14/04/2023. Los estudiantes deben tener una hoja de permiso llena para comprar un boleto. El precio incluye la entrada al baile de graduación, el viaje en autobús hacia y desde el evento, la cena buffet, la barra de bebidas ilimitadas (agua y refrescos) y el buffet de postres. Los paquetes de fotos estarán disponibles para su compra.

Requirement List:
• Immediate family member required in CSEA Snowline Chapter #278
(Must be a union member in good standing)
• Application – Original CSEA form required
• Copy of Transcript
• Student must have 2.5 GPA or better
• One-page essay of future plans
• Attendance print-out; 85 % attendance based on scholarship deadline.
• No F's during senior year with all graduation requirements met.
• Proof of enrollment/acceptance to college or trade school required if
awarded scholarship.
